DescriptionSociety Dog Show Pluto Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1939). "He's a very fine dog sir, and he's smart!" says Mickey Mouse to the Judge as he and Pluto enter the fancy uptown dog show where they are hopelessly outclassed and have little chance of winning. But when a fire breaks out in the building, Pluto bravely goes in to save Fifi and is a hero. This animated short subject film was produced by Walt Disney, directed by Bill Roberts and animated by Shamus Culhane, Fred Moore, John Lounsbery, Norm Ferguson, and Clyde Geronomi. The film was released on 2/3/39. This is an outstanding 12 field, 5-peghole animation drawing of Pluto. You can see this image around the 1:49 mark when Pluto looks back at Mickey as he is being groomed. It's a terrific 4.5" x 8" image rendered in graphite drawing with green pencil. Condition is Very Good.
