DescriptionSociety Dog Show Mickey Mouse Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1939). "When I get through, you win a dozen... blue ribbons!" says Mickey to Pluto as he primps him for the Society Dog Show. Here's an excellent 12 field 5-peghole animation drawing of Mickey adding perfume to a bug sprayer, in order to "frou frou" Pluto up a little. This can be seen at about 2:16 into the short, which was directed by Bill Roberts and was released on 2/3/39. This cartoon was also the debut of Minnie's dog Fifi the Peke. Art is in graphite with great red and green highlights, with #56 in bottom right corner. Mickey's image has a figure size of 6". Matted with an opening of 14" x 12", Plexiglas-front framed, with a name plaque, for an overall size of 22.5" x 24.5". Art is in Very Good condition. Frame is sold as-is. From the MacLaughlin Family Disney Collection.
