Description

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Snow White "Whistle While You Work" Deleted Scene Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1937). Presented in this lot is an outstanding animation drawing of Walt Disney's first Princess, masterfully crafted over 85 years ago during the production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. This Snow White was produced for a "Whistle While You Work" house cleaning scene in the Seven Dwarfs cottage that was edited from the film. According to the Disney Studios script draft, ten scenes were deleted from this sequence. Grim Natwick (1890-1990) supervised the animation of Snow white throughout this portion of the film. Rendered in graphite and red colored pencil, the image of Snow White measures approximately 8.25" x 6.5" on a 12 field 5-peghole sheet of animation paper. Featured on the bottom right corner is the frame number notation "2" in red color pencil. The piece has light age-toning with mild production handling and edgewear. In Very Good condition.
