DescriptionSnow White and the Seven Dwarfs Grumpy Layout Drawing (Walt Disney. 1937). "There she goes!" says Grumpy on the back of the forest deer, as the dwarfs chase the Old Hag after she has left their cottage. The forest animals run to alert the dwarfs at their diamond mine of the trouble. This is an outstanding 16 field layout drawing of Grumpy riding the deer in hot pursuit of the trying-to-escape Old Hag. Graphite with orange underdrawing on 16 field 5-peghole animation paper. Great image size, measuring 7" x 5". The animation sheet is labeled Unit G and has Sc. 6 Seq 145 written in the bottom border. Terrific animator roughs of this scene in graphite along the right and top, with Sc. 6 written at the very top of the page. The finished layout drawing is as interesting as the practice roughs in the margins! Minor handling and edge wear, with pinholes in the corners. Artwork condition is Good.
