Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Evil Queen Drawing (Walt Disney, 1937). "Slave in the magic mirror, come from the farthest space ...through wind and darkness I summon thee. Speak! Let me see thy face." "What wouldst thou know my Queen?" "Magic mirror on the wall, who is the fairest one of all?" This an original animation drawing of the Evil Queen in the opening sequence of the film. This is a rare and important piece as this is the scene that sets the tone for the film. Here we see the reflection of her face in the mirror. This appears in the picture around the 2:38 time mark. The drawing was rendered in graphite on 12 field animation paper. Noted in the bottom right is number 64. A studio stamp in the lower left indicates that this drawing is from Production 2001, Sequence 1, Scene 4. The piece is enclosed in a glass-fronted frame of 18.25" x 16.26" with an aperture of 11.25" x 9.75". Frame sold as-is. The drawing has a reinforced center peghole with mild handling wear. Condition is Very Good.
