Description
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Evil Queen Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1987). "But to make doubly sure you do not fail, bring back her heart in this!" says the Evil Queen to the Huntsman, in this key scene from Disney's first animated feature. What a cold, evil, and vain ruler this unforgettable character is to order the death of such a sweet, innocent fair maiden like Snow White! We've handled a number of original production animation drawings from this scene, but none quite as stunning as this 16 field drawing. You can find this at the 7:36 mark in the film. The art is in graphite with red and blue penciled highlights, with an overall image size of approximately 7.5" x 10". This image of the Evil Queen with the heart box in her hand has been the subject of limited edition cels, dolls, collector's art plates, and prints; here's the Real Deal, created during production of the 1937 landmark film. Wow! The page is stamped with a blue 116 on back, in the upper right corner, and noted as 1111 in the lower right corner. Condition is Very Good, with minor handling and edge wear.Auction Info
