DescriptionSnow White and the Seven Dwarfs Doc Animation Drawings Sequence of 3 (Walt Disney, 1937).
Bumbling, stammering Doc was nevertheless a wise, fatherly leader of the dwarf diamond miners, the one who happily took Snow White in to their shared home. He comically mixes his words as he asks if she can make apple dumplings ("Uh, can you make dapple lumplings? Er, lumple dapplings?"). Here's a rare sequence of original 12 field 5-peghole rough animation drawings of Doc, originally designed by Albert Hurter. Fred Moore, Ward Kimball, Les Clark, Art Babbitt, and Shamus Culhane were among the animators who worked on this character. These roughs are in graphite, numbered 18, 23, and 35 in the upper right corners. Figure sizes are on average 4" tall. These expressive drawings are all well-centered, and in Very Good condition with minor handling and edge wear.
