DescriptionSnow White and the Seven Dwarfs/ Bambi Animation Drawings Group of 5 (Walt Disney, 1937/42). Presented is an eclectic and historic array of early Disney Studios feature animation drawings. Included are five drawings of animals from both Snow White and Bambi. It's an interesting collection of comparative character styles from the beginnings of feature animation. The forest creatures from Snow White were designed and animated as the animators envisioned them in their minds, while in the production of Bambi, animator's adopted a more technical approach to animal design and movement. Studio artists studied real animals to achieve more lifelike characters and movement. All five drawings are in graphite with occasional colored pencil highlights and are on 12 field 5-peghole paper. All show handling and tanning; otherwise, condition is Very Good.
