Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Animation Drawings Sequence of 3 (Walt Disney, 1937).In 1989, the Library of Congress deemed Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant" and selected it for preservation in the National Film Registry. The American Film Institute ranked Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs among the 100 greatest American films, and also named the film as the greatest American animated film of all time in 2008. In this lot we have three sensational vintage animation drawings of Snow White dancing with the dwarfs. You will find this scene around the 54:30 mark in the film. Each piece was rendered in graphite and colored pencil on 12 field 5-peghole animation paper. All three illustrations have a studio ink stamp on the lower left indicating Production 2001 Sequence 3 Scene 29 and are noted as 75, 93A and 100A. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is considered to be Walt Disney's most significant contribution to cinema making this a fantastic opportunity to add three pieces of historically significant animation art to your collection. Mild age-related toning, otherwise, the artwork is in Very Good condition.
