    Description

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1937).
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was America's first feature-length animated film, as well as the first in the Disney Animated Canon. The Disney Animated Canon is the name given to the series of Disney theatrical animated feature films produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios since 1937. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was also the first one in English, and the first in Technicolor. It's a safe bet to say, Disney has had a lot of "firsts." This Walt Disney masterpiece, premiered on 12/21/37, and was an adaptation of the Brothers Grimm fairy tale, in which an evil queen attempts to have her stepdaughter murdered because she was jealous of her beauty and wanted to be "the fairest in the land." Ultimately Snow White escapes and is given shelter by seven dwarfs in their cottage in the forest. From Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs we have a terrific animation drawing of Sneezy and Happy. The dwarfs measure 5" tall in this hand-drawn piece rendered in graphite with colored pencil on 12 field 5-peghole animation paper. Mild paper toning due to aging. Very Good condition.
