Sleeping Beauty Prince Phillip and Briar Rose Animation Drawing Sequence of 3 (Walt Disney, 1959). "...But if I know you, I know what you'll do. You'll love me at once the way you did once upon a dream." Prince Phillip and Briar Rose make a splendid appearance in this lot, featuring a rare sequence of three animation drawings from Sleeping Beauty, Disney's 16th animated feature film. Featuring wonderful full-figure images of the enamored couple as they conclude their dance at the 32:22 mark of the movie. Rendered in graphite on 16-field animation paper, these drawings show Prince Philip holding Briar Rose as they observe the kingdom in the distance. The images measure 4.75" tall, numbered 278, 294, and 302 in the bottom right corners. The three drawings show normal age-related toning and overall light handling and edge wear from production. Reinforced pegholes, and the condition of the set is Very Good.Auction Info
