Description
Sleeping Beauty "Once Upon a Dream" Pair of Briar Rose and Prince Philip Animation Drawings (Walt Disney, 1959). "You'll love me at once, the way you ..." Briar Rose was not expecting to perform her song as a duet! Presented in this lot we have splendid set of two original animation drawings from the iconic musical number "Once Upon a Dream," from the timeless Disney classic Sleeping Beauty. This endearing image of the two characters was created for the moments seen at the 31:00 timestamp, just as Prince Phillip steps in to dance with the surprised Briar Rose. One of Walt's Old Men and Disney Legend, Marc Davis (1913 - 2000), supervised the animation of this famous scene. The characters measure 6" tall on each 16 field sheet of animation paper. The drawings are numbered 14 and C14. Light age related toning with minor handling and edge wear from production. Very Good condition.Auction Info
