Description
Sleeping Beauty Maleficent Animation Drawing Sequence of 3 (Walt Disney, 1959). "Oh, they're hopeless. A disgrace to the forces of evil." Maleficent laments the ineptitude of minions in the sequence of three animation drawings from Sleeping Beauty offered in this great lot. Used to create the scene that takes place starting at about the 17:14 mark of the film, these three animation drawings are a great example of the distinguishable design of the character, allowing us to identify her even from the back. The drawings are numbered 13, 21, and 27 in their bottom right corners and show the character rendered in graphite and colored pencil measuring colossal image sizes of 7" x 10", 7.25" x 10.5", and 8.25" x 10.5", respectively. These drawings all show normal age-related toning, reinforced pegholes, minor waviness in their right edges, and overall mild handling and edge wear from production. Drawing 13 presents two minor tears on the bottom edge. In Very Good condition.Auction Info
