Description
Sleeping Beauty Maleficent Animation Drawing Sequence of 3 (Walt Disney, 1959). "Oh, they're hopeless. A disgrace to the forces of evil." Maleficent laments the incompetence of her minions in this sequence of three animation drawings from Sleeping Beauty. Used to create the scene that takes place starting at about the 17:14 mark of the film, these three animation drawings are a great example of the distinctive design of the character, allowing us to identify her even from the back. The drawings are numbered 35, 39, and 41 in their bottom right corners and show the character rendered in graphite and colored pencil measuring colossal image sizes of 7" x 10", 7.25" x 10.5", and 8.25" x 10.5", respectively. These drawings all show normal age-related toning, reinforced pegholes and overall mild handling and edge wear from production. In Very Good condition.Auction Info
