Sesame Street Magazine #89 Ernie Original Illustration (The Parenting Group, 1980). Outstanding original published artwork of Ernie in his messy room. This is page 6 and 7 (two-page spread) from Sesame Street Magazine, April 1980 issue. Bert was on the cover for a theme of "It's a Rainy Day." Great framed picture of Bert and Ernie on the wall, Ernie's turntable and his rubber ducky! Ernie had a Top 20 hit with his song "Rubber Ducky" in 1970! The published artwork is by Rick Brown, who has signed on bottom right. Gouache on board of 19" x 13.5". Painted area is 15.5" x 10". Ernie is 6". Published Sesame Street artwork of any kind is rare! Glue stains on white border, nowhere near art. Minor handling and edge wear. Very Good condition.
