Sesame Street Magazine #108 Interior Illustration by Rick Brown (Jim Henson Associates/The Parenting Group, 1981). Bert and Ernie star with Grover in this illustration, originally published in the December, 1981 issue of Sesame Street Magazine. Artwork is by longtime Sesame Street/Muppets artist Rick Brown, who also created a holiday-themed cover with Bert and Ernie. Did you know they were the only Muppets used in the July, 1969 Sesame Street TV pilot? This delightful mixed-media piece has a hint of nostalgia with the street corner phone booth and postal mail box; it's matted with an opening of 8" x 11"; overall mat size is 16.5" x 19". Art is hand-signed by Rick Brown in the lower right corner. Any and all Sesame Street artwork is considered rare. Minor handling wear. Very Good condition.
