    Description

Seaside Village Watercolor Painting by Lee Blair (c. 1930s-40s). Lee Blair (1911 - 1993), husband of Mary Blair, was one of the leading artists in the California Watercolor artist movement. This is a sterling example of his work: an outstanding watercolor painting depicting a west coast seaside village. The light coming from the sky is amazing! The painting is on art paper measuring 12.5" x 9.5", hand-signed on the bottom right by Lee Blair. Minor handling wear. Tape on bottom border from a previous framing. Very Good condition. From the Blair Family Trust.
