Scooby-Doo Playing Hockey Preliminary Drawing by Jack Manning (Hanna-Barbera, c. 1970s). Scooby-Doo hits the ice in this fantastic original graphite and blue pencil drawing. It's a huge image, measuring 13" on 16 field 3-peghole animation paper. Artist Jack Manning (1920 - 1986) had a long career as a comic book artist, as well as an eight-year stint as animator for Hanna-Barbera. This was a preliminary design for the H-B Consumer Products Division, mostly likely for clothing design. Minor handling and edge wear; Good condition.
