DescriptionScooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase Amusement Park Background Layout Group of 2 (Hanna-Barbera, 2001).
This direct-to-video film was the fourth one to be released. It also was the last one to have executive producer credits to both Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera, as Bill Hanna would pass away shortly after its release. This animated film of Scooby-Doo and the members of Mystery Inc was released on VHS Tape and DVD on 10/9/01. This is an outstanding pan background layout of the amusement park on the outskirts of the city. You will see this in the film's finale sequence when they are looking for the last two boxes of Scooby Snacks. Bottom border reads "establishing Cyber City Boardwalk with Amusement Park." This massive piece of artwork is done in mixed media of graphite, colored pencil, marker and ink. It is done on pan animation paper measuring 38" x 10.5". The art is by longtime background and layout artist, Mr. Andrew (Drew) Gentile. The artwork is hand-signed by the artist. His first work on Scooby-Doo was in 1977 on Scooby-Doo's All Star Laff-A-Lympics, almost 25 years earlier! Also, in this lot is Drew Gentiles' "Aerial overview of Cyber Ocean Boardwalk and Amusement Park." It is done in graphite and ink with marker on 16 field animation paper. The pair really showcases the location for the film's big finale. Minor handling and edge wear. Very Good condition.
