    Description

Scooby-Doo and Friends Publicity Illustration by Jack Manning (Hanna-Barbera, 1974). Atom Ant, Hair Bear, Scooby-Doo, plus Drooper and Bingo from the Banana Splits (and Secret Squirrel on the TV screen) are featured in this wild promotional illustration. This was done by longtime comic book artist and animator Jack Manning; it appears to be a full-page ad of some sort, done for Hanna-Barbera publicity/press use. Art is in ink over graphite with Zipatone shading film on a sheet of 19.5" x 15.5" Bristol board. There is a large blank area along the lower left outlined in blue pencil; this space was reserved for text, to be added during production. Signed in the lower right, with a H-B stamp dated 1974. Minor handling and edge wear; Very Good condition.
