    Description

Rolly Crump Hand-Drawn Card to Mary Blair (1963). Rolly Crump joined Walt Disney Studios in 1959 and became a primary designer for Disney Theme Parks. He was a major player in the design of all of the attractions for Disney's participation in the 1964/65 New York World's Fair attractions. He did major design work on "It's a Small World" and was a major contributor to the "Tower of Four Winds." He was inducted as a Disney Legend in 2004. He personally worked very close with Mary Blair on the "Small World" project. This is an original Rolly Crump hand-drawn card and hand-addressed envelope dated November 9, 1963. The card has Rolly Crump's artwork with glitter. The cover reads, "Just wanted to let you know we miss your little ole..."; inside of card reads "...Sparkling Face - Love the Crumpers." Important card, as it is right in the middle of their collaboration on "Small World." Minor handling wear and a border tear on the envelope. Overall, Very Good condition. From the Mary Blair Family Trust Archives.
