    Description

Roger Rabbit Commercial Product Illustration Color Production Art and Preliminary Drawing (Walt Disney, 1988). Produced for a box design for a Roger Rabbit themed Valentine's Day card set, this image is created with the black line art printed on an acetate sheet which overlays a hand-colored gouache painting of Roger and the heart-shaped background. The image area is a big 20.5" x 14.75" on illustration board. The overlay has some tape residue on it from the Pantone® color chart chips that were previous taped to it. Many of those chips are included along with a graphite prelim drawing of Roger on onionskin paper.
