    Description

Robin Hood Daffy Layout Drawing Original Art by Chuck Jones (Warner Brothers, 1958). This great Chuck Jones-directed, Michael Maltese-written cartoon short had Daffy Duck playing Robin Hood, and Porky Pig as a disbelieving Friar Tuck. This is an outstanding Chuck Jones layout drawing of Daffy during the "Yikes and Away" tree-swinging scene that you can see at around the 4:43 mark. After crashing into to tree after tree, he says "Why you!!" and proceeds to chop down all the trees he swung into. He still does a "Yikes and Away" tree swing, but this time ends up swinging into a boulder. This short was released on 8/3/58. Great Chuck Jones (1912-2002) original drawing on 3-peghole animation paper, with a nice full-figure image of 6". An actual screen grab of this image is included in the frame setup. Artwork and screen grabs are in a Plexiglas-front frame measuring 24" x 16"; mat opening is 12" x 10". Frame is sold as-is; condition of artwork is Very Good.
