Description
Retta Scott - Seaside Painting (c. 1950s-60s). After leaving Disney, Retta Scott did quite a bit of traveling with her husband, who was in the US Navy. She traveled and lived wherever his career would take them, including Hawaii, Connecticut, and Northern California. She painted and sold watercolor paintings wherever they lived, and on their many vacations. This is a stunning watercolor painted while living in Hawaii. It appears to be on a Somerset rag acid-free textured art paper measuring 20" x 14". Retta Scott was inducted as a Disney Legend in 2000. Minor handling, and in Very Good condition.
