    Description

Retta Scott "Hawaiian Scene" Painting (c. 1950s-60s). After leaving Disney, Retta Scott (1916 - 2000) did quite a bit of traveling with her husband, who was in the US Navy. In one of her moves, she lived for a number of years in Hawaii. Ms. Scott painted watercolors of places around Hawaii and sold them locally for years. This is one of her beautiful Hawaii watercolor paintings, on Somerset acid free rag Art paper measuring 22" x 15". This piece is signed Retta Worcester, her married last name; it's one of the few we have seen signed. The signature has an artistic style to it. It is said she usually signed her work only when it was sold. Minor handling and edge wear. Very Good condition. From the Retta Scott Archives.
