Red Book Magazine Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse Original Illustration Attributed to Tom Wood with Magazine (Walt Disney, 1933). It doesn't get more classic than this! Presented in this lot is a rare original illustration of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse showcasing the classic pie-eye look, attributed to the great Tom Wood (1887-1940) for the Red Book Magazine edition of May 1933. The magazine, a copy of which is included with the lot, had two illustrated pages (pages 54 and 55) of Mickey explaining the wonders of technocracy to Minnie. Done in ink with gouache on a 14.25" x 12.25 board, the illustration has Minnie measuring 5.25" tall, with Mickey standing at 6.5", both in full figure! Don't miss this great chance to own a classic Mickey and Minnie Mouse illustration. The illustration board shows some age-related toning, tack holes in the four corners, edge wear, and light foxing with the pasted-on register marks presenting some wear.
