DescriptionPuppy Love Pluto Animation Drawings Sequence of 4 (Walt Disney, 1933). The love bug has bitten Pluto in this sweet Mickey Mouse cartoon, the first to feature Minnie Mouse's pet Pekingese, Fifi. The short was directed by Wilfred Jackson and released to theaters on 9/2/33. Pluto is featured solo in this sequence of four original 12 field 2-peghole animation drawings. The sequence begins at the 1:56 mark, as Pluto admires Fifi, who is sitting on a small couch; it ends with Pluto slapping one paw down as he gets ready to hop up beside her. The drawings are numbered 46 (image size 2.5" x 3.25"), #100 (3.5" x 4"), #112 (3.75" x 3.25"), and #129 (6.25" x 3.25"). Overall paper condition is Good, with stains on the first drawing, and paper clip marks (none in image areas), with toning and handling/edge wear.
