DescriptionPorky Pig and Friends Studio Model Sheets Group of 5 (Warner Brothers, 1940's). The artists and animators of Leon Schlesinger Studio's legendary Termite Terrace were the geniuses who created such iconic characters as Porky Pig, Daffy Duck and of course Bugs Bunny. In this lot is a collection of five photostatic animator's model sheets from a variety of shorts and each one bears a Schlesinger Studio copyright. All are from the early '40s and one indicates Bob Clampett as director. Two of them are from WWII propaganda films Confessions of a Nutzy Spy (Porky Pig) and Plane Daffy (Hatta Mari). The prints range in size from 12" x 10" to 14.5" x 11" on photo paper. Model sheets of Warner characters from this era are very rare and highly sought after by collectors. Each exhibits handling, edge wear and creases. Condition for the lot is Good. From the Rev Chaney Archives.
