DescriptionPopeye Storyboard Drawing Original Art (Famous Studios, c. 1950s). Popeye has just eaten his spinach and is ready for action, in this original storyboard/concept drawing. Based on the "Sherlock Holmes" cap he's wearing, our guess is that this was done during production of Private Eye Popeye (1954). At any rate, it's a great original graphite and white paint drawing on 11" x 8.5" paper of Popeye flexing his mighty muscles. Figure size is 5.5" tall. The number 140 is in the upper left. Minor handling, with pinholes; Very Good condition.
