Description
Polar Trappers Goofy Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1938). Goofy and Donald are fur trappers in the South Pole in this short directed by Ben Sharpsteen and released on 6/17/38. It is the first Disney cartoon to feature Goofy and Donald without Mickey Mouse. This is an original 12-field, 5 peg hole animation drawing of Goofy making a quick repair to his coat around the 03:33 mark. It's rendered in graphite and red pencil, and numbered 83 in the lower right. The huge nicely centered image size measures 7" x 8.5". A wonderful production drawing from a rare theatrical release.
