Pocahontas Animation Drawings Group of 6 (Walt Disney, 1995). "You know Pocahontas. She has her mother's spirit. She goes wherever the wind takes her." Pocahontas was directed by Mike Gabriel and Eric Goldberg and produced by James Pentecost during a period known as the Disney Renaissance (1989-1999). Grossing $346 million at the box office, Pocahontas received two Academy Awards for its achievement in music; Best Original Score for Alan Menken's score and Best Original Song for "Colors of the Wind." In this lot we have a terrific group of six animation drawings of the film's protagonist. These are amazing images, each rendered in graphite and blue pencil on 16 field animation paper. The images measure approximately 10" x 9", and are some of the best Pocahontas drawings we have seen. These are actual working production drawings and show normal handling, edge wear and some mild superficial smudges on the pages. Very Good condition.
