    Description

Pinocchio Stromboli Animation Drawing Sequence of 5 (Walt Disney, 1940). Series of five 12 field 5-peghole animation drawings of Stromboli as he finds a slug in his evening's coin receipts. He is counting his money after Pinocchio's "I've Got No Strings" performance. He is elated with the amount of money brought in, and then finds this slug which at first infuriates him, before realizing he can give it to Pinocchio and act like it is a real gift. An amazing sequence, with graphite images of 4" to 6" x 9". It is rare to see a sequence like this from any early Disney animated feature film. All five drawings are housed in one unique glass-front frame measuring 19" x 46.5". Mat openings are approximately 10" x 6". The progression is framed vertically. Fine condition.
