Description

Pinocchio Stromboli Animation Drawing Sequence of 2 (Walt Disney, 1940). "What's this?!" Stromboli asks, furiously gesturing at the fake coin in his mountain of profits. This wonderful pair of 12 field 5-peghole animation drawings can be found at about the 41:40 mark of the 1940 film as Stromboli and Pinocchio discuss the puppet's incredible performance on stage. The scene is a perfect example of just how greedy the man is, and a must-have for a Disney villain collection. Stromboli is rendered in graphite with color pencil and is as imposing and expressive here as he is in the film, measuring about 7'' x 6'' and 8.25'' x 7.5''. Each page includes a studio production stamp marked for Production 2003, Sequence 4.4, and Scene 10 with the drawings noted as C-116 and C-125. This manipulative fan favorite villain is in Very Good condition with minor edge and handling wear and light age-related toning.
