Description
Pinocchio Stromboli Animation Drawing (Disney, 1940) Simply enormous original production drawing of one of the (many) villains who menace our young hero throughout the film. Named after the active volcano off of the Sicilian coast, the evil Stromboli certainly lives up to his namesake, as he terrorizes poor Pinocchio after the puppet's smash debut. This powerful and expressive cleanup animation drawing measures 8" high and is rendered in graphite and colored pencil. Very minor age-related yellowing of paper, and slight crease near Stromboli's right elbow. Light handling and edge wear. Stamp at bottom left reads "Prod. 2003 Seq. 4.4 Scene 51" Beneath, in pencil, is written " G.P. 145". In Fine condition.More information about Walt Disney Studios - Pinocchio.
