Pinocchio Storyboard Print Sheets Group of 90 (Walt Disney, 1940). Joe Grant began the Disney Character Model department around 1940. This is one of the most detailed looks we have seen into the making of Disney's animated feature film masterpiece, Pinocchio. This is approximately 90 pages of original rare studio storyboard print sheets for almost the entire film. The hand-drawn storyboards for each sequence were pinned up to a bulletin board and then shot with a camera, and printed out on photographic paper. Some of the scenes in this lot read "Introduction of the Cricket," "Blue Fairy Frees Pino. From Cage;" "Awaiting Pino's Return;" "Reunion in a Whale;" "Cricket Sings for Pino;" "Fox and Cat Sell Pino on Pleasure Island;" "Pool Seq" and many more. The artwork shown in on these pages showcases why this film turned out as it did. Magnificent Disney documents of the making of this wonderful film. Minor handling, edge wear, edge creases tears, pinholes, glue stain, tape, etc. Good overall condition.
