    Description

Pinocchio Pleasure Island Pool Hall Layout Drawing (Walt Disney, 1940). "Some fun, eh kid?" asks Lampwick after Pinocchio takes a big drag on his cigar, which brings tears to his eyes and turns his face green. Here's an amazing original layout drawing of a woozy Pinocchio, as he tries to hit the eight ball at the Pleasure Island pool hall. This is from one of Disney's most terrifying sequences, as Lampwick and the other boys learn their fate -- a lifetime of hard work in the salt mines, as donkeys! The detailed art is in graphite on 12 field 5-peghole animation paper, with an image area of 7.75" x 5.75". The notation 50C is written twice on the sheet, which has minor handling wear. Very Good condition. From the Joe Rinaldi Estate.
