Description

Pinocchio Pinocchio Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1940). "Oh, he was mad. He said he was gonna push my face in everybody's eye." Pinocchio tells Jiminy, trapped inside Stromboli's bird cage. This beautiful 12 field 5-peghole animation drawing from Disney's 1940 classic Pinocchio captures the wooden puppet in a tense situation. This moment can be found at about 45:16 in the film just after Jiminy returns to Stromboli's wagon. Jiminy asks what Stromboli has done and Pinocchio dutifully answers, knowing he's in real danger if he doesn't escape. The animation drawing is rendered in graphite with color pencil and measures approximately 4.75'' x 5.75''. The page is labeled C-25 and has a studio stamp noting it as Production 2003, Sequence 4.8, and Scene 15. There are three additional notes around the drawing. The page has minor edge and handling wear with light age-related toning. Superficial wrinkles, faint smudges, and tiny bits of paint debris. Very Good condition overall.
