Pinocchio Monstro the Whale Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1940). Monstro, the killer whale that swallows Geppetto and his boat in Pinocchio, is seen in this original 16 field animation drawing. This is a rare image of Monstro, with a huge water jet coming from the whale's spout. It's not often to see this in original Pinocchio production art. The drawing is in graphite with red and green penciled highlights, and an approximate overall whale image size of 13.5" x 8". The drawing is noted as 37 in the lower right. It's a bit hard to tell exactly where this image occurs in the film, due to all the water effects; however, the scene at 1:16:50 is very similar. Matted with an opening of 15" x 12", framed with Plexiglas for a frame size of 23.5" x 23.5" x 1". Frame is sold as-is. Minor handling wear on the drawing. Very Good condition.
