Pinocchio Jiminy Cricket Layout/Development Drawings Original Art Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1940). In this film, the Blue Fairy makes Jiminy Cricket Pinocchio's "Conscience." He goes on to become one of the most iconic of all Disney characters, going on to appear in numerous Disney animated feature films, radio and TV appearances. He was originally designed and brought to life by Ward Kimball and voiced by Cliff Edwards (aka Ukulele Ike)! This is a rare set of development and layout drawings of Jiminy Cricket. Both are drawn in graphite with red pencil on 12 field 5-peghole animation paper. Drawing #1 showcases two full-figure Jiminy Cricket studies of 5". The second drawing is a rough layout drawing in graphite and red pencil of when Jiminy is underwater, searching for Geppetto, and comes across a seahorse, his size. Nice drawings, sized 5". Both drawings have major dirt on surface, with major handling and edge wear. Small rip on right side of the two-character study. Fair to Good condition.
