    Description

Pinocchio Jiminy Cricket Animation Drawings Sequence of 5 (Walt Disney, 1940). "Go on, laugh. Make a jackass out of yourself. I'm through. This is the end!" Following his interaction with Lampwick, Jiminy storms off in this scene at the 1:02:20 mark in Disney's second feature-length film. Ward Kimball, one of "Walt's Nine Old Men," was the lead animator on Jiminy. In this lot is a sequence of five original animation drawings of Pinocchio's official conscience, Jiminy Cricket. Each of the full-figure images is rendered in graphite with red and green pencil on 12 field 5-peghole paper and all bear matching production stamps in the lower right corner. It's a remarkable collection of vintage production drawings from a true Disney classic. The lot shows light handling and condition is Very Good.
