Pinocchio Goofy and the Blue Fairy Preliminary Illustration (Walt Disney, 1940). In an effort to cross promote Pinocchio, a comic book story as well as a Courvoisier Art Gallery series of cels brought Mickey, Donald Duck, Goofy, and Pluto in to the world of Pinocchio. Some commonly refer to this as "Donnochio." We have sold several Courvoisier cels from this parody series in the past. This is a rare original artwork of Goofy crossing paths with the Blue Fairy, drawn in graphite with blue and red pencil highlights on two separate 16 field 5-peghole animation sheets that have been taped together to complete the scene. The artwork is labeled #3216. These are great images, with sizes of 7" and 8". The art has tape in the center of the drawing, holding two pieces together. The two pieces are trimmed to 8" x 12" and 8" x 12.5". Good condition.
