Description

Pinocchio "Give a Little Whistle" Animation Drawing (Disney, 1940). In one of the cheerful musical numbers that takes place early in the film, Pinocchio's newly-elected "Official Conscience," Jiminy Cricket, teaches the wooden boy how to whistle -- and sing and dance! This is an original 12 field 5-peghole drawing of Pinocchio; he has just tried to "capture a whistle" in his small feathered cap, and expects the echo to whistle back! Pinocchio is rendered in graphite with red pencil, with an image size (not including his green pencil "shadow") measures 5". There are notes to the ink and paint department throughout. In the bottom left corner, stamped text reads "Prod 2003 Seq 1.6 Scene 15", and in the lower right, C 55 is written. In Fine condition with light handling and edge wear.
