    Description

    Pinocchio Figaro Illustration (Walt Disney, 2009). This is an original one-of-a-kind watercolor painting of Figaro the Cat. by Disney artist Toby Bluth (1940 - 2013). It is titled "Cap Nap" and was inspired by the scene in Pinocchio where Figaro goes to bed with Geppetto. Toby Bluth was a longtime studio background painter and art director. He also was "approved" for Disney Studio's Fine Art program. He was a fan of Gustaf Tenggren and you can see his influence in Bluth's work. This signed painting is framed with a mat opening of 9" x 11" in a 21" x 24" frame. Toby Bluth paintings were usually part of his gallery VIP Show appearances. Included on reverse of frame is a Certificate of Authenticity. Condition is Fine.
