DescriptionPinocchio Early Design Animation Drawings Sequence of 4 (Walt Disney, 1940). Right after Pinocchio is brought to life by the Blue Fairy, he tries to stand up and soon sees he's a bit wobbly. This is a rare series of four 12 field 5-peghole animation drawings of Pinocchio trying to stand up. This is the very early design of the character, drawn in graphite with red pencil highlights. They are marked #'s 715, 721, 725, and 733. The last two have a little Fred Moore look and feel about them. Rare to find such a great sequence from the early phases of this film! Images are approximately 5". Minor handling and edge wear; Very Good condition.
