Pinocchio and Jiminy Cricket Illustration by Toby Bluth (Walt Disney, 2010). Toby Bluth said that Gustaf Tenggren inspired both his style and career. You can definitely see that influence in this spectacular one-of-a-kind painting of Pinocchio in Geppetto's workshop with friends Jiminy Figaro and Cleo. When asked how he approached each of his watercolor masterpieces, he described his intent as "Creating the moment that you think you saw... How one remembers a film is often different from the actual film itself." Mr. Bluth was an approved Disney Studio artist for their Fine Art Program through Collections Edition Publishing. Prior to that he had a long career as a Disney background artist, production designer, children's book artist, and Broadway art director. This is an original Toby Bluth (1940 - 2013) hand-painted masterpiece from 2010 is signed by the artist and the color and detail are astonishing. It's in a 25" x 22" frame under Plexiglas with a mat opening of 10" x 8". Condition is Fine and the frame is sold as-is.
