Peter Pan Wendy Production Drawing (Walt Disney, 1953).
"Wendy, the eldest, not only believed. She was the supreme authority on Peter Pan and all his marvelous adventures." Peter Pan was directed by Hamilton Luske, Clyde Geronimi, and Wilfred Jackson with animation by all of "Walt's Nine Old Men". Background artists include Eyvind Earle with Color and Styling by Mary Blair and John Hench. The crew list reads like a "Who's Who" of legendary Disney artists! This is a splendid production drawing of Wendy from Walt Disney's 14th animated feature film, Peter Pan, released to theatres on 2/5/53. The drawing is from the hand of Harvey Toombs, the supervising animator for Wendy. This is a large image measuring 7" tall, rendered in graphite on 12 field, 3-peghole animation paper. This is an excellent opportunity to add a great piece of vintage animation art to your collection. Very mild age-related paper toning, normal handling and edge wear. Otherwise, Very Good condition.
