Description

Peter Pan Tinker Bell Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1953). "Tink! Stop playing and help me find my shadow." Tinker Bell is as curious as she is feisty, so she gets a little distracted helping Peter. Tinker Bell became a symbol for Disney in the years after the film was released and remains one to this day. This stunning, enormous graphite with color pencil animation drawing was created for about 11:45 after Tink admires her reflection in the mirror, a little surprised by size of her hips. The drawing notably includes Tink's wings (which were always animated on a separate cel!) and measures roughly 9'' x 11.5'' on 16 field 3-peghole animation paper with a few helpful notes for the inkers in red describing how to set up her wings. Even better, the drawing includes a studio production stamp marking it for Sequence 2 and Scene 17 and is floated in a 17'' x 14'' mat window and is displayed in a Plexiglas 26'' x 27'' frame with a plaque reading 'Tinker Bell original production drawing "Peter Pan" 1953'. You can't go wrong with a Tinker Bell animation drawing like this, whether you're exclusively a collector of this iconic fairy or want to add a little more Disney magic to your life. Good to Very Good condition with light edge and handling wear, minor superficial wrinkles, and faint age-related toning. All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition.
