Description

Peter Pan Rare Tick-Tock Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1953). Tick-Tock makes an appearance in this fantastic and rare 16 field 3-peghole animation drawing from the 1953 film Peter Pan. This hungry crocodile is Captain Hook's nemesis and is said to have followed the man around since Peter gave him Hook's cut off hand. This graphite with color pencil drawing shows the full figure croc with a smile. He can be found at about 24:25 in the scene where he is first introduced, though he is mostly covered by water in the final. Drawings like this from the 1950s are hard to find and this one gives a great look into the artist's process. The croc measures about 9'' x 4.5''. The page is numbered 211 with faint creases, superficial wrinkles, light age-related toning, and smudging expected from a vintage piece. Light debris with minor edge and handling wear. Good condition.
