    Description

Peter Pan Captain Hook, Mr. Smee, and Pirates Storyboard Art (Walt Disney, c. 1935). Walt Disney intended for Peter Pan to be his second animated film after Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, but was scheduled as the fourth film in the late 1930s, and then ultimately postponed when World War II broke out. This is a rare and early 1930s storyboard of Captain Hook, Mr. Smee, and the Pirates, in the early developmental stages. Done in Conte crayon and graphite, a "60" sticker is in the bottom right corner. Framed to an overall size of 17.5" x 14.5", with a mat opening of 6" x 7", this extremely rare piece is in Fine condition.
