Peter Pan Captain Hook Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1953). "Captain, no splash." "Not a sound..." The infamous Captain Hook peers over the edge of The Jolly Roger in this captivating animation drawing of the classic villain. From Walt Disney's 14th animated feature, Peter Pan (1953), this captivating image of Captain Hook can be seen at about 1:07:13 timestamp. After sending Wendy to walk the plank there is an eerie silence that settles over The Jolly Rodger and its crew. Little do they know Peter Pan is coming to save the day! Hook and the silhouette of one of his crew are rendered in tight graphite over a red color pencil draft, with the drawing measures approximately 4" x 3.5" on the 16-field 3-peghole animation sheet. The unique portrait orientation of the page was likely done to accommodate to the camera pan of the sequence from the boat to the undisturbed water below. The drawing has light production handling and edgewear, light age-toning, and minor staining on the bottom right edge. In Very Good condition.Auction Info
